Prevail Testimonial — Courtney Appleby

When I joined Prevail 5 months ago, I was looking to kick my workouts up a notch and make sure I was completing movements safely.

Before I joined, I wasn’t sure what I should be doing. The number of exercises and variations was overwhelming, and I didn’t know how to choose. I was also struggling with proper form and worried I’d injure myself.

For about 3 months before Prevail, I was losing confidence in my workouts and how effective they were — and it was wrecking my motivation to show up.

Since joining, my fitness and performance have increased dramatically. My only goal had been gaining strength, but Prevail focuses on complete fitness — endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility.

My core is stronger, and I have more muscle definition.

I have more energy in my days and more confidence in what my body can do. I use my wins in the gym to motivate me through challenges outside of it — if I could do a pull-up I never thought I could, I can try other hard things too.

The support from Prevail gives me confidence that I’m doing the right exercises for my goals, and I’m never worried about form because I can get immediate feedback through video or in a session.

I’m proud of all the new things I’ve tried and everything I once assumed I wasn’t strong or fit enough to do.

I used to think certain exercises were out of reach. Now I know everything can be modified to my level, and I can work my way up.

I feel very confident about maintaining my results long term. I finally feel capable, and I don’t want to go back to feeling weak or worried about injuries. There’s no magic — just showing up and doing my best each day.

Prevail is worth it. The confidence I’ve gained in my abilities — and in the gym — is more than worth it. Even when I don’t know how to do an exercise, the confidence kicks in because I know Prevail will walk me through it.
